About us — Mars Orbiter

Our passion for the Tesla Roadster has turned into a future-oriented workshop for all electric vehicles. We repair, optimize and train – regardless of brand or manufacturer.

Six people, one shared focus: electric vehicles that stay on the road instead of getting scrapped. From our founding year in 2019 to today — here's who works at Mars Orbiter, and how the workshop has grown since.

"If you have always done it that way, it is probably wrong." Charles Kettering (1876-1958)

This quote from the American engineer is more relevant today than ever. Gasoline and diesel engines are still the most common ways to power a vehicle. But in all likelihood, the future belongs to electromobility. Producing vehicles that run solely on electric power represents a major challenge for the automotive industry. The same applies to the repair and maintenance of electric vehicles. If we want to remain mobile in the future, we have to face this challenge and break new ground.

Conrad Buck

Conrad Buck

Managing Director

Conrad Buck

Managing Director

As a great fan of technology and fast cars it was early on that Conrad was fascinated by the Tesla Roadster. Since there was practically no maintenance service available for older Tesla models, he had to do it by himself. From his passion for the Roadster arose his true calling: "If there are no other people with the necessary know-how, I'll have to open my own workshop."

Manager for warehouse and logistics

Car technician and automobile salesman. Together with Conrad, he has been working on old Italian and exotic vehicles since he was a youngster. He has an unerring instinct for finding spares and the know-how to install them. As a passionate hunter, he makes sure that Mars Orbiter has exactly the right pieces available, even for rare Roadster models.

He can fix anything, from the smallest screw to the largest, and is also the world's best reconditioner. A vehicle he gets his hands on is almost unrecognisable afterwards and shines as new.

Office Manager

Mars Orbiter would be unthinkable without a well-organised office where Heike pulls the strings. She makes sure that the numbers are correct and on time, and she keeps the backs of her colleagues free so that they can do their jobs (attempts to poach her are futile).

Automotive Mechatronics Technician

Mohamad joined Mars Orbiter in February 2026 and, as the youngest member of the team, brings a breath of fresh air. His training as an automotive mechatronics technician provides a solid foundation, complemented by high-voltage training and a genuine interest in new technologies. He performs a wide range of tasks in the workshop, from diagnostics and repairs to routine maintenance.

After a long career in the medical technology sector, Uli followed his passion for technology and now complements the team at the Tesla Roadster clinic. Because he is often on the road picking up vehicles, he jokingly refers to himself as the "employee who is never there."

Our history

2026

June: Schenna e.motion in South Tyrol

At Schenna e.motion, an electric rally through the South Tyrolean countryside, Conrad Buck takes a seat on the panel — alongside Markus Moroder of Alpitronic and Felix Strohbach, editor-in-chief of arrive magazine, hosted by Marie-Kristin Wricke, known as Madame Electric. The guest of honour is Elisa Artioli, namesake of the Lotus Elise, the platform the Tesla Roadster was built on. She signs the charge port lid of our blue Roadster.
