Tesla Roadster Repair, Restoration & Reconditioning
Our all-round package for your car, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Need a repair, a refresh or a service for your Roadster? Then you have come to the right place.

It is just 120 years since the first tyre for cars was invented. Since then, tyres have been continuously developed and optimised. Modern tyres marked “EV” are tailored to the needs of electric vehicles.
The right tyres are extremely important for your EV and your safety, because in the end, just a few square centimetres of rubber decide whether they will keep you braking, cornering and even in critical situations where you want to be.
The rims also play an important role in driving comfort. We can advise you on which combination of rims and tyres is best suited to your needs. You can also have your wheel sets stored by us under optimum conditions.
EVs are often heavier than combustion engines due to the weight of the battery. In addition, the immediately usable torque is a challenge for the tyres. Tyres developed for electric vehicles are therefore made of more robust rubber compounds and have a stronger sidewall.
The rolling resistance of a tyre is very important for electric cars, as lower rolling resistance means greater range. Narrower tyres and well-adjusted tyre pressure help to reduce rolling resistance.
As there is no engine noise, rolling noises are more audible on electric vehicles. Tyres for EVs are made from rubber compounds that are particularly quiet. The design of the treads also contributes to a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Rims for electric vehicles catch the eye with their unusual shape. This is not only a futuristic design element, but also reduces the formation of air vortices — this makes electric vehicles even quieter and gives them a greater range.
Storing wheel sets in a private cellar or garage is not the best solution — fluctuating temperatures, humidity and dust are bad for the tyres, and lugging and stacking them is bad for your health. Instead, we store them for you under optimal conditions. When you bring your car in for a wheel change, we check tyre condition and tread depth so you keep the right grip in every situation.
The “EV” marking stands for “Electric Vehicle” — these tyres offer higher load capacity and wear resistance combined with lower rolling resistance. We’re happy to explain how to read tyre size, load and speed index, and manufacturing date (week/year) off the sidewall, and we check pressure and wear regularly.
Winter and all-season tyres must also carry the Alpine symbol (snowflake) — the plain M+S marking alone has not been sufficient since 1 October 2024. We’re happy to check this on your next visit and advise you if a change is due.

We inspect your car thoroughly before the warranty runs out. The aim is to spot defects and weak points early, while Tesla still repairs them free of charge.
We welcome every electric vehicle to our climate-neutral, forward-looking open workshop — in the heart of Germany, right off the A7.
Appointment & advice
Electric vehicles are heavier and accelerate harder, so tyres wear differently than on a combustion car. We fit, balance and advise you on sizes that suit your vehicle's weight and range.
